Douglas Michael "Mike" Thomas

Douglas Michael “Mike” Thomas, age 77, of Ocean Springs, passed away on Wednesday, November 1, 2023, at his residence.

Mike was born on June 29, 1946, in Pascagoula, MS, to Lee Jefferson Thomas and Annie Mae Thomas Sibley. He graduated from Pascagoula High School. Mike worked for Isle of Capri Casino as a housekeeping supervisor. He loved his plants, friends, and helping his neighbors in the community.  

He was preceded in death by his parents, and sisters, Evelynn Green, Betty Hudson, and Margarite Vance.

Survivors include his children, Oran Lee Thomas and Victoria Lynn Mizel; grandchildren, Cody Thomas, Jeremy Thomas, Jamie Williams, and Jenna Williams; and many great-grandchildren.

The family would like to extend a thank you to their Waffle Tree House family, family, and friends, for all their prayers. They would also like to thank Mike’s hospice nurses and the staff at Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home.

A Celebration of Life will be held from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM on Friday, November 17, 2023, at The Colonnades Club House, 4901 Riley Rd, Ocean Springs, MS, 39564. You can make a donation at the Celebration of Life.
