Doyle Dee Toms, age 82, of Gulfport, MS passed away on December 26, 2024 at Saint Joseph Hospice.
He was born on June 2, 1942 in Jenks, OK to parents Doyle Edward Toms and Lorene Elizabeth Carroll. Doyle attended Jenks High School in Jenks, OK.
He received many awards and recognitions including, the Airforce Good Conduct medal w/5 OLC, joint service command medal, Airforce Longevity Service, and a w/4 OLC National Airforce Service medal.
He was a civil service employee, worked for Cable One, was a Welder at McDermott, and served in the Airforce as an 1839 Communications.
He enjoyed fishing, hunting, painting and hobby bee keeping.
Doyle Toms is preceded by his parents, Doyle Edward Toms and Lorene Elizabeth Toms and siblings, Wesley Toms, Patricia Sue Toms, Ronald Toms and Shannon Kaye Toms.
He is survived by his children, Linda Lorene Toms, Doyle Dwight Toms, Raymond Lee Toms; multiple grandchildren, multiple great grandchildren and siblings, Jo Ann Toms (Walton), Donna Ruth Toms (Welch) and Delma Lynn Toms.
Services will be held Thursday, January 2, 2025 at the Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home, 15th St., Gulfport at 11:00am. Friends may visit one hour prior. Interment will follow at the Biloxi National Cemetery at 12:30pm.
