Dwight Mason

Mr. Dwight "Red" Mason, 73, of Woolmarket, went to be with the Lord Friday, May 9, 2008, in Ocean Springs. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him. Mr. Mason was born in Arkansas and had been a lifelong resident of Woolmarket. He was a veteran of the U. S. Army and an accomplished water well driller. He would go anytime, day or night, to help anyone with their water well needs, regardless of their means. He was a 32nd Degree Mason and drove the Coalville United Methodist Church children's bus. Mr. Mason was preceded in death by his parents, Columbus and Estelle Mason; sister, Nancy Jerry Gressett; and two brothers, Von Mason and Donald Mason. Survivors include three daughters, Debbie (Tunnie Ladner) Bynum, of Woolmarket, Dawn (Bob) Norton of Rockport, TX, and Darla (Joey) Hanson of Biloxi; two sons, Ronald (Carrie Lee ) Mason of Woolmarket, and Glendel Perry Madden, Jr., of Woolmarket; a brother, C. B. Mason, Jr. of Woolmarket; ten grandchildren; six great grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, and three additional biological children. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, May 14, 2008, at 12 noon at Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Home, Pass Road, in Biloxi where friends may visit one hour before service time. Entombment will follow in Southern Memorial Park.
