E. Leigh MacConnell

E. Leigh MacConnell, of Biloxi succumbed Wednesday, June 25, 2008 in Patterson Louisiana following an extended illness. “Miss Leigh” MacConnell, retired Vice President of the Broadwater Beach Resort Hotel, past Queen of Revelers Carnival Association and former Director of the Mississippi Deep Sea Fishing Rodeo. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Biloxi. She is survived by her son Brian MacConnell and his wife Debra, two grandchildren, Dominique MacConnell and Brian E MacConnell II. The family will receive friends Saturday June 28, 2008 at the First United Methodist Church of Biloxi on Hopkins Blvd. from 10 a.m. until 11 a.m. with a short service starting at 11 a.m. Burial will follow in Coalville Cemetery.
