Earlene Reed

Earlene Furr Reed, age 72 of Vancleave, MS., died on Sunday, October 17, 2010 in Vancleave, MS. Mrs. Reed was a native of New Orleans, LA and a resident of Vancleave since 1960. She was of Catholic faith. She was preceded in death by her husband, Herman Reed and her parents, Fulton and Bernice Gaudet. In life we loved you dearly, in death, we do the same. It broke our hearts to lose you, but you did not go alone. For a part of us went with you when God called your name. Although we cannot see you, we know you are with us always. Survivors include two daughters, Jodie (Henry) Ramsey and Mamie Waltman; two sons, Billy (Sherri) Furr and Kenny (Sissy) Furr; one brother, Gary (Becky) Gaudet; fourteen grandchildren and several great-grandchildren. Funeral service will be Wednesday, October 20, 2010 at 12:00 Noon at the Vancleave Chapel of Bradford O'Keefe Funeral Home where friends may visit from 10:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. Burial will follow in Antioch Cemetery, Vancleave, MS.
