Edith Nell Coleman

Edith Nell Coleman, age 82, passed away peacefully in her sleep on Wednesday, July 19, 2023.

Nell was born on August 21, 1940, to the late Everett Lee Lewis and Laura Beatrice Haley Lewis. She graduated from Central High School and Jackson Commercial College. Nell retired from Watkins and Eager where she worked as a legal secretary. She was an active member of Griffith Memorial Church where she sang alto in the choir. Nell and her husband, Bob, lived 37 of their 45 years of marriage in Terry, Ms.  After the death of her husband, Nell moved to Biloxi and later to Pass Christian to be near her daughter, Janet, and her family.

Nell was preceded in death by her brothers, Kennith M. Lewis and Glen Allen Lewis. Survivors include her daughter, Janet (Billy) of Long Beach, MS; granddaughters, Morgan & Katie; and her Hahn's Macaw, BJ.

No services will be held. Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home, 15^th Street, Gulfport, is honored to serve the Coleman family.
