Edmae Theresa Bialka

Edmae Bialka, age 85, of Biloxi, MS, passed away on October 7, 2023, in Gulfport, Mississippi.

Edmae was a loving and sociable woman who found the most joy in being surrounded by her family and friends. She was always ready to lend a helping hand to those in need and was known for her caring nature. In her later years, Edmae faced the challenges of Dementia/Alzheimer's, but despite the difficulties, she remained a source of strength and love for her family. She leaves behind a legacy of warmth and kindness. Edmae attended Biloxi High School and later pursued her nursing education at Charity Hospital School of Nursing. She was a lifelong Catholic and worshiped at Our Lady of Fatima in Biloxi, Mississippi. In her free time, Edmae enjoyed quilting, drawing, and painting. These hobbies allowed her to express her creativity and bring beauty into the world.

Edmae is survived by her beloved husband, Raymond "Skip" Bialka; daughter-in-law, Karla (Chris); granddaughter, Danielle (Timmy); granddaughter, Katelyn (J’Markus); great-granddaughter, Emmy; and five siblings, John, Thomas, Sylvia, Gerald, and Edward.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Clara and Mouise Richards; brothers, AJ Richards, and Chris Richards; and her sons, Richard Bialka and Keith Bialka.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in her honor to Our Lady of Fatima. 

A private family service will be held on Saturday, October 28, 2023.

Edmae Bialka will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all those whose lives she touched. Her memory will forever remain in their hearts.
