Edna P. Hall, 89, of Gulfport died Thursday, February 14, 2013 in Gulfport. She was born in New Orleans, Louisiana. She was a member of St. James Catholic Church.
She, and her late husband, Thomas L. Hall were owners of Carrousel Lighting in Gulfport. In 1957 she won national and international lighting awards. She was an honorary member of the Electrical Association of New Orleans and was the first lady to receive the Pioneer Award. She was a former member of the Civic League, the Gulfport Chamber of Commerce, Center Stage Board, Coast Community Concert Board and Coast Homebuilders Auxiliary.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas L. Hall; a son, Michael Hall; and two grandsons, Scott Hall and Steven Hall.
Mrs. Hall is survived by her daughter, Lynn Fortier of Gulfport; a son, Patrick Hall and wife, Ruth of River Ridge, LA; three grandchildren, Melissa (Brady) Martin, Natalie (Nestor) Navarro, and Ryan Hall; and six great grandchildren.
She was loved by all of her family and many friends.
The Mass of Christian Burial will be Monday, February 18, 2013 at 11:00 AM at St. James Catholic Church, Gulfport where friends may visit beginning at 9:30 AM. Interment will follow at Southern Memorial Park, Biloxi.
The family prefers memorials to St. James Elementary School, 603 West Avenue, Gulfport, MS 39507.
