Eduard Van Thiel

Mr. Eduard Van Thiel, age 80, of Ocean Springs, died Friday, November 6, 2009 in Ocean Springs, MS. Mr. Van Thiel was a resident of Ocean Springs, MS for the past 10 years. He loved the military and his hobby of boxing. He fought in the Korean War and was a member of the Army and Merchant Marines. Survivors include his wife, Mocky Van Thiel of Ocean Springs, MS, three sons, Pieter Van Thiel (Brittany) of Lafayette, LA, Walter Van Thiel of Muscle Shoals, AL, and Robbie Van Thiel of Ocean Springs, MS, one brother, Walter Van Thiel of Seattle, WA, and one grandchild, Lex Van Thiel of Vancleave, MS. Graveside Services will be held on Tuesday, November 10, 2009 at 10 AM at Biloxi National Cemetery. Bradford O'Keefe Funeral Home in Ocean Springs is in charge of arrangements.
