Edward Daniel Maranville, 74, of Biloxi, died Wednesday, March 22, 2006 in Biloxi. Mr. Maranville was a native of New York and a long time resident of Biloxi. He was a veteran of the Korean War serving in the U.S. Air Force in the pararescue division. He retired from Keesler in 1993 with 34 years of civil service in civil engineering. He was a member of St. Michael's Catholic Church. Mr. Maranville was a past member and president of the Jaycees 1961-1962, Kiwanis, and Harrison County Unit of American Cancer Society.
Mr. Maranville was preceded in death by his mother, Irene Breymer Maranville and father, Kenneth Maranville and step mother, Marian Maranville.
Survivors include his wife of 52 years, Gloria Kovacevich Maranville of Biloxi, 3 daughters, Sandra Starcher (Anthony) of Biloxi, Michele Myers (Peyton) of Oak Grove, and Cheryl Maranville and fiance Gary Conley of Jackson, OH, 3 sisters, Ellen Millington of Warrensburg, NY, Rosemary Miller of Bolton Landing, NY, and Phyllis Smith of Glens Falls, NY, and sister-in-law, Frances Kovacevich, and 4 grandchildren, Gina DiGirolamo, James Michael Myers, Catherine Hope Myers, and Holly Myers.
Mass of Christian Burial will be 1:00 P.M., Friday, March 24, 2006 at St. Michael's Catholic Church, where friends may visit one hour before mass. Interment will be in Biloxi City Cemetery. Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
