Edward Francis Burdine, Sr.

Mr. Edward Francis Burdine, Sr., 54, of Biloxi, MS died Saturday, September 23, 2006, in Biloxi. Mr. Burdine was a native and lifelong resident of Biloxi. He was a member of Nativity B.V.M. Catholic Cathedral Parish and a U. S. Army Veteran. He was a graduate of Biloxi High School and Jeff Davis Campus of MS Gulf Coast Community College. Mr. Burdine was preceded in death by his parents, Gerald H. and Ann Judge Burdine; sisters, Delores Magee and Joy Burdine, and a brother Gerald H. "Bubba" Burdine, Jr. Surviors include his wife, Marian Joachim Burdine of Biloxi; daughters, Angela Rose Burdine and Melissa Ann Burdine both of Biloxi; sons Edward Francis Burdine Jr., Charles Schappert Burdine and Benjamin Joachim Burdine all of Biloxi; sister, Erin Burdine Turk of Las Vegas, NV, and two grandchrilden, Jasmine Rose and Elijah Joachim Burdine of Biloxi. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Wednesday, September 27, 2006, at Nativity B.V.M. Catholic Cathedral at 1 p.m. where friends may visit one hour before service time. Interment will follow at Biloxi National Cemetery The Howard Avenue Chapel of Bradford O'Keefe Funeral Homes in Biloxi is in charge of arrangements.
