Edward Howard Kilgore, Jr.

Edward H. Killgore, Jr. passed away quietly on May 29, 2011, surrounded by his loved ones. Ed was an outdoorsman, he loved fishing, hunting and enjoying the beauty of nature. He served in the United States Navy. He was a poet, philosopher and an avid reader. He is preceded in death by his father, Edward H. Killgore, Sr. and wife (Eileen); beloved step-father, Walter S. Johnston; brother, Jesse Killgore, daughter, Veronica Perry; nephew, Jeffery Miller and grandson, Patrick Savage. He is survived by his wife, Doris; daughters, Tina Savage (Kim); Beth Faul (David) and step-son, Willie Lee Parker, Jr.; his mother, Grace Johnston, sisters, Linda Bond and Libby Richmond (Scott); brothers, Tommy Killgore, Michael Killgore (Liz), Steve Powell (Kim). Ed was blessed with ten grandchildren, Katie Savage, Lee Luck, Cody Luck, Mary Faul, Greg Faul, Bryan Faul, Maggie Faul, Schuyler Perry, Crystal Rushing and Willie Lee Parker III. He also left behind two special friends, Cincere’ Mason and Lynne Richard. In lieu of flowers the family has requested donations be made to your local Veteran’s charities, the National Arbor Day Society, which Ed was a member, or a charity of your choosing. There will be a memorial service at the Biloxi National Cemetery, Biloxi VA, 400 Veterans Blvd., Biloxi, MS on Monday, June 6, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Home, Pass Road, West Biloxi is in charge of arrangements.
