Edward L. Scott

Edward L. Scott, age 68, of Gautier, passed away in his home August 29, 2010. Edward was born in Chillicothe, MO on August 22, 1942 and moved to the Gulf Coast with his wife in 1991, after a 25 year career in retail management with American Stores, Inc. He owned and operated Photos Your Way in Ocean Springs, MS for over 12 years. After retiring, he was a school bus driver for the Pascagoula School District in Gautier. He was a faithful member of St. Paul United Methodist Church in Ocean Springs and enjoyed singing in the chancel choir for many years. He was preceded in death by his parents, Dorland and Lillian Scott of Chillicothe, MO; and his sister, Nancy Yerger of Ocean Springs, MS. Ed is survived by his beloved wife, Judith Ellen Scott, of Gautier; and two children, Shannon Scott, of Gautier and Pamela Bond, of Wiggins; two grandchildren and four great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held on Friday, September 3, 2010 at 12:00 p.m. where friends may visit one hour prior at St. Paul United Methodist Church downtown Ocean Springs, 800 Porter Ave., Ocean Springs, MS. Interment will follow in Biloxi National Cemetery.
