Edward Louis Wilson

Mr. Edward Louis Wilson was born on August 11, 1930, the son of Charley Edward and Rosa Frye Wilson. He was born in Lepanto, AR, and was a resident of Ocean Springs, MS. He died October 9, 2015 at the age of 85. Mr. Wilson was a retired state hospital guard, a Korean War veteran, and a devoted husband and father. Mr. Wilson was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers, Elbert and Jerry Wilson, and Carlos Frye; and two sisters, Georgia York and Lurlene Mize. He is survived by his wife, Yvonne Wilson; his son and daughter-in-law, Glen and Julie Wilson of Jefferson City, MO; his daughter, Dyan Gibson of Ocean Springs, MS; his sister, Bonnie Kinney of Bellevue, MI; and six grandchildren, Forrest, Liberty, Wyle, George, Michael, and Whitney. Graveside services will be held on Thursday, October 15, 2015, at 10:00 A.M. at the Biloxi National Cemetery in Biloxi, MS under the direction of the Bradford O’Keefe Funeral Home of Ocean Springs, MS.
