Edwin Louis Clark

Mr. Edwin Louis Clark, age 93, of Ocean Springs, MS., died Thursday, July 14, 2005, in Ocean Springs. Mr. Clark was born in Bassfield, MS., on May 21, 1912. He was a resident of Madison, N.C., for 47 years before moving to Ocean Springs in 1983. He was a retired textile worker and a member of St. Alphonsus Catholic Church in Ocean Springs. Mr. Clark was preceded in death by his wife, Mattie King Clark, parents, Reed and Katie Clark, brother, Thomas Seymour Clark, and sisters, Margie Clark Hurst and Jenny Clark Brien. He is survived by a brother, Billy Clark of Kenner, LA., two sisters, Bess Terrell of Bassfield, MS., and Thelma Munday of Kenner, LA. He is also survived by two sons, Wayne Clark and wife, Linda, of Ocean Springs, MS., and Kenneth Clark and wife, Virginia, of Tampa, FL., seven grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren. On Tuesday, July 19, 2005, there will be an 11 AM Mass of Christian Burial at St. Peters Catholic Church in Bassfield, MS., where friends may call from 10-11 AM. Burial will follow in the St. Peters Catholic Church Cemetery. The Ocean Springs Chapel of Bradford O'Keefe Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
