Effie June Bridges

Effie June Bridges, 76, died Saturday, April 26, 2008 in Gulfport. Mrs. Bridges, a resident of Lakeview Nursing Center for the past fourteen years, was a native of Alabama and a Baptist. She was preceded in death by her father and mother Rev. Jesse A. and Vera Mae Williams, a sister, Willie N. Williams, a brother, Jesse M. Williams, and a sister, Glenda S. Tucker. She is survived by a brother, William "Bill" P. Williams, two children, Rev. Rodney S. Bridges and Mrs. Rita M. Vickers, seven grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren. Visitation will be 2:00-3:00 pm Monday at Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Home on O'Neal Road with services to follow at 3 pm. Burial will be at the Coalville Cemetery.
