Eileen S. Phillips

Eileen S. Phillips, age 86, of Gulfport passed away on Saturday, May 1, 2010 in Gulfport. She was born in Weston, WV. Mrs. Phillips was a homemaker and assisted her husband in their remodeling business. She was also an outstanding fishing person and caught her fair share of fish along with the guys. Mrs. Phillips was a member of St. James Catholic Church in Gulfport. Mrs. Phillips was preceded in death by her husband, Wade P. Phillips in 2003. She is survived by her sons, R. Paul Phillips and spouse, Pamela of Parkersburg, WV, Mark L. Phillips of Lafayette, LA, and Gregory M. Phillips of Gulfport; and three granddaughters, Amanda D. Garrett of Milton, WV, Hillary E. and Maggie A. Phillips of Lafayette. The Mass of Christian Burial will be Wednesday, May 5, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. at St. James Catholic Church in Gulfport. The visitation will begin at 10:30 a.m. prior to the mass at the church. Interment will be at Biloxi National Cemetery where she will rest along side of her loving husband.
