Elbert Mills Waltman

Elbert Mills Waltman, 82, of Vancleave, MS, died Saturday, December 6, 2014 in Vancleave. Mr. Waltman was a longtime member of Vancleave Holiness Church. He was retired from the Jackson County Road Dept. He was a year round gardener, full time fisherman, and loved his family unconditionally. He had a sweet, gentle spirit and being on time was of utmost importance, no matter where he was going. He is preceded in death by his parents, Ernest and Rose Waltman. Mr. Waltman is survived by his wife Dorena C. Waltman; his children, Ronald (Sherry) Waltman, Ruth Sadler, Patricia (Melvin) Ely, Philman (Sharon) Waltman, Philip Waltman, Tina (Randall) Fruges, Eddie Waltman, Ivey Woods and Emily (Shane) Joffrion; 22 grandchildren; and 26 great-grandchildren. Visitation will be held at the Vancleave Chapel of Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home on Wednesday, December 10, 2014 from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm. Funeral services will be held at the Vancleave Holiness Church on Thursday, December 11, 2014 at 12:00 pm. Friends may visit from 11:00 am until service time. Interment will follow at Vancleave Holiness Church Cemetery.
