Elda Trahan McGill, 69, of Biloxi passed away March 25, 2008 due to complications from leukemia.
Elda graduated from Sacred Heart Girls High School in Biloxi. She worked at Mary Mahoney's for many years and retired from Boomtown Casino. She cherished the many friends she made while working at Mary Mahoney's and Boomtown Casino. She loved Biloxi and enjoyed life to the fullest. Her love for her family and friends was never ending and she will be forever missed.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Thomas J. McGill, Jr.; her father, George Trahan; her brother, Patrick Trahan.
She is survived by her children, Kevin M. McGill (Jodee), Maureen E. Pilger (Jack) and Kelly A. McGill; her mother, Ozea Trahan; her sisters, Beverly Trahan, Susan Fountain (Sonny) and Alice Curtis (Frank); her grandchildren, Amber Pavlov, Aimee Pavlov, Maureen McGill, Michael McGill, Myles McGill, Jason Pilger, David Pilger, John Pilger, Taylor Pilger and Drew Pilger; great-grandchildren, Anna Kathryn Pilger and Kallie Mae Pilger. Many nieces, nephews, relatives and life-long friends.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, March 28, 2008 at 1:00 pm at Nativity BVM Cathedral with visitation from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm. Elda will be buried at the Biloxi National Cemetery with her husband.
