Elizabeth Blom

Mrs. Elizabeth Blom, born in Wayne, Pennsylvania and a longtime resident of Huntington, NY, died April 20, 2007, in Biloxi, MS. Mrs. Blom had been a resident of Biloxi since 1996. She was an office manager and bookkeeper for a number of businesses in Huntington, NY, retiring from the billing department of Huntington Hospital in 1992. Her family wishes to thank her caregiver, Shirley Davidson; her assistants, Kathy, Linda and Sissy; and the entire staff of Quality Hospice of the Gulf Coast for the loving attentive care they provided. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Rueben, and her brother, William Self. She is survived by her two sons, Doug Blom and his wife, Jan, of Biloxi, and Dick Blom and his wife, Mopsy, of Orlean, VA; ten grandchildren, Devin Blom, Dian Dyckes, Casey Denton, Damea Purcell, Danielle Tane, Daria Blom, Dealon Blom, Derin Blom, Delaney Blom, and Daniel Blom; and nine great grandchildren, Ethan Blom, Kiera Blom, Devin Blom, Olivia Blom, Christopher Denton, Cora Purcell, Declan Purcell, Coleman Blom and Maeve Purcell. Private services will be held by the family. Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Home, Howard Avenue, Biloxi was in charge of arrangements.
