Elizabeth 'Betsey Nolen" Poole

Elizabeth “Betsey Nolen” Poole, age 64, died Friday, June 13, 2014 in Gulfport. She was born in Prattville, AL and had been a resident of Gulfport for most of her life. She was a member of St. Peters by the Sea Episcopal Church, Gulfport. She was a graduate of Gulfport High School class of ’67 and also a graduate of Auburn University at Montgomery. She was preceded in death by her parents, Zachariah J. and Elizabeth Brown Nolen. She is survived by three sisters, Nancy Nolen of Jackson, AL, Palmer “Pam” “Macintosh of Garland, TX, and Susan Nolen of the Woodlands, TX; and a brother, Thurston “Bud” Nolen of Gulfport. Visitation will be held Saturday, June 21, 2014 from 2 until 2:50 p.m. at Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home, 15th Street, Gulfport with a graveside service to follow at 3:00 p.m. at Evergreen Cemetery, Gulfport.
