Elizabeth Saucier West

Elizabeth Saucier West, age 91, of Gulfport died Thursday, October 6, 2016 in Gulfport. She was born in Lyman and was a lifelong resident of Harrison County. She was a member of Gateway United Methodist Church. She was retired from Harrison County Schools as a bookkeeper after 21 years of service. She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star and past Matron of Miriam Chapter. Mrs. West was preceded in death by her husband, Ben West; and her parents, Lorenzo William Saucier and Minnie Macella Byrd Saucier. She is survived by her son, Tracy Hickman (Lisa); and four grandchildren, Billy Funk (Luann Dawsey), Traci Hickman, Rachelle Hickman, and Stefanie McKnight (Brian); and 10 great-grandchildren. The family prefers memorials to the American Cancer Society, 417 Security Square, Gulfport, MS 39507. The funeral service is Monday, October 10, 2016 at 11:00 A.M. at Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home, O’Neal Road, Gulfport where friends may visit beginning at 10:00 A.M.
