Ella Mae Ponson

Ms. Ella Mae Ponson, 77 of Biloxi, MS., died Monday, January 29, 2007 in Biloxi, MS. Ms. Ponson was a member of Nativity B.V.M. She worked for Howard Memorial and Biloxi Regional Medical Center for over 30 years and the Biloxi School System for 10 years. She was preceded in death by her husband, Louis Joseph Ponson, her parents, Ernest and Eva Arceneaux Duhon, a brother, Percy Duhon, two sisters, Eunice Thibodeaux and Delores Anglado. Survivors include, three daughters, Sandra Ann Higginbotham of Biloxi, Nona Ann Treloar of N. Charleston, S.C., Mona Lisa Hartner of Biloxi. Two sons, Louis Randy Ponson of Ocean Springs, Jeffery Anthony Ponson of Ocean Springs and one brother, Francis K. Duhon of Biloxi. Nine grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Visitation is Thursday, February 1, 2007 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the Howard Avenue Chapel of Bradford O'Keefe Funeral Homes in Biloxi. Services will be Friday, February 2, 2007 at Nativity B.V.M. at 10:00 a.m., where friends may visit one hour before service time. Interment will follow at D'Iberville Memorial Park.
