Ellen Mary O'Brien

Ellen Mary "Mrs. Ellie" O'Brien, age 82, of Ocean Springs, MS., died Friday, September 2, 2011, in Ocean Springs. Mrs. O'Brien was a native of Cincinatti, OH, and was a graduate of Reading Community High School Class of 1947. She was active in the Senior Citizens in Ocean Springs and in Reading and enjoyed working the polls in Reading. She was a member of St. Elizabeth Seton Catholic Church in Ocean Springs. Mrs. O'Brien was preceded in death by her parents, Andrew Brelage and Mary Hoeper Brelage. a brother, Donald and sister, Cathy Ann. Survivors include a daughter, Cyndy (Tim) Williams of Ocean Springs, MS., son, Mark (Missy) O'Brien of Erlanger, KY, brother-in-law, Robert Martin of Reading, OH, four grandchildren, Tina, Liz, Chris, and Kelly, and five great-grandchildren, A.J., Alex, Elijah, Cody and Abby. Visitation will be on Monday, September 5, 2011, from 5 pm until 8 pm, at the Ocean Springs Chapel of Bradford O'Keefe Funeral Home. On Tuesday, September 6, 2011, there will be an 11 am Mass of Christian Burial at St. Elizabeth Seton Catholic Church. Burial will be on St. Peter and St. Paul Catholic Cemetery in Reading, OH.
