Mrs. Elma Parker Stamper, R.N., 86, of Biloxi, MS died Friday, February 18, 2005 in Gulfport.
Mrs. Stamper was a native Biloxian and a retired registered nurse. She was a member of the Coalville United Methodist Church in Woolmarket and was a life member of the National Home Gardening Club.
During the Polio epidemic she worked in acute polio nursing in four states. She retired as a staff nurse at Keesler AFB Medical Center, and before that, she was a nurse at Biloxi Hospital and she also did private duty nursing.
She was preceded in death by her parents, George and Pearl Fayard Parker and brother, George "Pee Nee" Parker.
Funeral Services will be held at Coalville United Methodist Church in Woolmarket on Monday, February, February 21, 2005 at 11 a.m. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Interment will be in the Coalville Cemetery.
