Elmira Evans

Elmira Evans, 75, of Gulfport passed away on Monday, June 17, 2024.

Mrs. Evans was born in Ellisville, MS and was a resident of the coast most of her life. She was a member of Holiness Church and was retired from the restaurant business.

Mrs. Evans was preceded in death by her daughter, Sophia Evans and sister, Betty Evans.

Survivors include her daughter, Carla Wright (Thaddeus); sons, Mathias Evans and Gabriel Evans; sisters, Ethel Evans, Patricia Evans, and Elnora Evans; brothers, Lewis Evans, Curtis Evans, and Jimmy Evans (Carol); 4 grandchildren; and 5 great-grandchildren.

The funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, June 24, 2024 at Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home, 15th Street, Gulfport, where friends may visit beginning at 10:00 a.m. The graveside service will be held at 2:30 p.m. at the Mount Williams Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery in Hebron, MS. Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home, 15th Street, Gulfport is honored to serve the Evans family.
