Eloise Jones Scott

Eloise Jones Scott, 92, of Gulfport died Tuesday, July 19, 2005, in Gulfport. She was born August 20, 1912 in Whitsett, NC. She was a member of Springwood Presbyterian Church in Whitsett, NC. She was preceded in death by her husband, Col. Denver R. Scott; her parents, Charles L. Jones, Sr. and Grace Ingle Jones; two sisters, Mary Jones Thompson and Ruth Jones Hargrove; and two brothers, Charles L. Jones, Jr. and Richard Auman Jones. She is survived by a daughter, Dr. Patricia Scott West of Gulfport; three grandchildren, Jennifer West Millsap, Alice West Bellanger, and Scott West, and two great-grandchildren, Trey Millsap and John Patrick Millsap, all of Gulfport; a sister, Frances Jones Orr of Chesapeake, VA; a brother, Irvin Ross Jones of Leesburg, FL; a niece, Dosie Tucker of Springfield, OH; and nephews, Dr. Scotty Hargrove of Oxford, MS and Don Orr of Chesapeake, VA. Private services will be held at a later date. Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Home, 15th Street, Gulfport is in charge of arrangements.
