Mrs. Elsie Amelia Owen Williams, 79, of Ocean Springs, MS died Saturday, February 19, 2005, in Ocean Springs.
Mrs. Williams was a native of Lumberton, MS and had been a coast resident over 60 years. She was retired from Ingall's Shipbuilding as a printing machine operator. Mrs. Williams was a member of the First Baptist Church of Ocean Springs and an avid bowler.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Jack E. Williams; her parents, W. A. and Mary E. Owens; a sister, Edna Gibson and four brothers, Earl, Ed, Jim and Virgil Owen.
Survivors include two daughters, Marcia Marie and her husband, Don, of Biloxi; La Juan Noel and her husband, Joseph, of Ocean Springs; two sons, Jack E. Williams, Jr. and his wife, Erika, of Dallas, Texas and Jeffrey O. Williams and his wife, Kelly, of Ocean Springs; two sisters, Eunice Norton and Maudie Hale both of Lumberton; one brother, Lonnie Owen of Gulfport; ten grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
Visitation will be Monday, February 21, 2005, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Home in Ocean Springs. Funeral services will be Tuesday at 10:30 a.m. at the First Baptist Church of Ocean Springs. Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery.
