Elsie Virginia Benezue

Mrs. Elsie Virginia Rivers Benezue, age 91, of Vancleave, MS., died Thursday, January 14, 2010, in Ocean Springs. Mrs. Benezue was born on February 12, 1918 in Noble, Texas. She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward J. Benezue, Sr., parents, Odis Dee Rivers and Edith Pearl Rivers, two sisters and a brother. Survivors include seven children, Dixie (Lee) Stine of Bartow, WV, Eddie (Joy) Benezue, Jr. and Dennis (Charlotte) Benezue, all of Vancleave, MS., Beryl (Karl) Stine of Port Charlotte, FL, Nedra (Billy) Redd of Madison, MS, Glenn Benezue of Wade, MS, Tracy (Joe) Clark, Jr of Vancleave, MS, sixteen grandchildren and twenty three great-grandchildren, three brothers, Robert Rivers and Charles Rivers of Bunkie, LA, and Bill Rivers of Mineral Wells, TX, a sister, Inez Pace of Snyder, TX and numerous loved ones and friends. On Monday, January 18, 2010, there will be a 10 AM graveside memorial service at Bellande Cemetery in Ocean Springs. The Ocean Springs Chapel of Bradford O'Keefe Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
