Elwood J. Parrish

Elwood J. Parrish, 67, of Biloxi, MS died on Monday, July 19, 2010. Mr. Parrish had been a native and lifelong resident of Biloxi. He was a valued employee of the Palace Casino. Mr. Parrish was a loving and caring husband, father and grandfather. He is preceded in death by his parents, William and Hazel Harris Parrish; four brothers, Emery, Elmer, Elvin and Dennis. Mr. Parrish is survived by his wife of 47 years, Georgia Parrish; daughter, Mona Willoughby; sons, Kerry (Lisa) Parrish, Greg (Heather) Parrish, Jeff Parrish; sister, Elsie (Edward) Martin; brother, Earl (Betty) Parrish; eleven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Visitation will be Friday, July 23, 2010 from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at the Howard Avenue Chapel of Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Home, Biloxi. A memorial service will be on Saturday, July 24, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. at the Pentecostals of the Gulf Coast Church.
