Emile "Johnny" Tiblier Jr.

Emile John Tiblier Jr. (Johnny), age 76, of Ocean Springs, passed away on Tuesday, February 4, 2025.

Johnny was born on October 26, 1948 in Biloxi to parents, Emile J. Tiblier Sr and Marjorie Grace McClellan. He graduated D’Iberville Highschool and was a football player during his time.

He worked for Loyd T Moon construction and was the president of the Local Carpenters Union. He attended MS State and Southern MS to obtain a teaching certificate. He worked for the Ocean springs Highschool as a building trades teacher.

He was a US Army veteran, serving in Korea during the Vietnam War.

Johnny loved hunting, fishing, and the New York Yankees. He also loved having crawfish boils for students. He was a VICA advisor and had car shows yearly.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Marjorie McClellan and father, Emile J. Tiblier Sr.

He is survived by his loving wife of 32 years, Peggy Tucker Tiblier; children, Kristopher Risch (Tracy), William (Tony) Wiygul, Barry Boren (Angie) and Emile John Tiblier III (John); grandchildren, David Gage Boren, Rayce Emile Boren, Lydia Cheyenne Boren, Karsen Risch, Dexter Risch and Peyton Tiblier. Johnny loved his kids and grandkids very much.

He is also survived by his siblings, Jeanie Chadick (Tim), Joel Tiblier (Libby) and Joy Pittsley (Kent) and his grand-dog, Marley, who slept beside him every night.

Funeral Services will be held on Monday, February 10, 2025 at the Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Homes Chapel in Ocean Springs at 1:00 pm. Friends may visit one hour prior. The interment will follow at the Biloxi National Cemetery.
