Mrs. Emilie M. "Toots" Diddlemeyer, 66, of Ocean Springs, MS, died Saturday, July 10, 2010, in Ocean Springs.
Mrs. Diddlemeyer was born in Biloxi and remained a lifelong resident of the coast. She was a member of St. Michaels Catholic Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Minus and Selema Goutreaux Bourgeois; her former husband, Billy R. Gray, Sr.; sister, Thelma "Moonie" Diddlemeyer; and brother, Gussie Bourgeois. She is survived by her husband of 39 years, Lawrence Diddlemeyer of Ocean Springs; daughters, Selema Diddlemeyer and Violet Winterstein, both of Ocean Springs; four sons, Billy R. Gray, Jr. and Brian Diddlemeyer of Ocean Springs, Scott Gray of Crofton, Kentucky, and Joseph Gray of Biloxi; ten grandchildren; one great grandson; four nephews; two nieces, and several great nieces and great nephews..
Visitation is Tuesday, July 13, 2010, from 5 until 9 p.m., with recitation of the Rosary at 7 p.m. at Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Home, Howard Avenue, in Biloxi. A Mass of Christian Burial will be 1 p.m. Wednesday at Blessed Seelos Catholic Church where friends may visit one hour before service time. Interment will follow at Biloxi National Cemetery.
