Mrs. Senseney is survived by sons, John K. "Kenney" Senseney and his wife, Lucille, of Biloxi, William S. "Bill" Senseney of Ocean Springs, Danny R. Senseney and his wife, Karen, of Gautier; and daughter, Cathy Lynn Stringfellow and her husband, Dennis, of Ocean Springs; eight grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; and more than 100 nieces and nephews. Mrs. Senseney is also survived by sisters-in-law, Mrs. Inez (Beans) Senseney, Mrs. Oral Mae (Blake) Senseney, Mrs. Patsy (Joe) Senseney, Mrs. Rosa Mae (June) Freeman, and brother-in-law, Phillip L. She lived her entire life from 1930, as a child and as an adult, on the Point until she required assisted living in Ocean Springs beginning shortly before Hurricane Katrina destroyed her home of 50 years. She was an employee of Mavar Shrimp and Oyster Co. for over 50 years. For many years she enjoyed crafts such as crocheting and ceramics. One of her favorite pastimes was Bingo. She was a member of the Fleur de Lis Auxiliary, the Magnolia Square Dancing Club, and she attended St. Michaels Catholic Church as long as she was able. The family wishes to give special thanks to the caregivers at the Shepherd House. We know our Mother would also want to give thanks and love to her very special friends and caregivers, Mary Roberts and Sherry Ruebel, who gave such unwavering support throughout her times of much needed assistance. It is angels like Mary and Sherry and those at the Shepherd House who unselfishly help those who so desperately need loving care and assistance. These wonderful people make this world a better place for everyone. While at the Shepherd House in her final days, we were under the care and guidance of Odyssey Health Care. Those at Odyssey and all of her caregivers have our everlasting gratitude and sincerest appreciation. A Mass of Christian Burial is Thursday, August 21, 2008, at 11 a.m. at St. Michaels Catholic Church where friends may visit from 9 a.m. until service time. Interment will follow in Biloxi City Cemetery. Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Home, Howard Avenue, in Biloxi is in charge of arrangements.
