Mrs. Eniz V. Davis, 95, of Biloxi, MS, died Saturday, June 7, 2008, in Biloxi.
Mrs. Davis was born January 16, 1913 in Leavenworth, KS. She was the daughter of Charles and Anastasia Rouyer. She had lived on the Coast since 1952 and was an active member of Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church. She was a former member of the Altar and Rosary Society, and the Legion of Mary. She was also a member of the Retired Seniors Volunteer Progam and the Fifty Plus Travel Club of Biloxi of which she served as treasurer for many years.
Mrs. Davis was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Doyce E. Davis; two sons, Donald Edward and James Richard Davis; brother, Clement C. Rouyer; and sister, Helen Marie Ozarkiewicz.
Survivors include a daughter, Ida Ann Hoover of Biloxi; two sons, Robert J. Davis of Baton Rouge, LA, and John T. Davis of Biloxi; ten grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Monday, June 10, 2008, at 1 p. m. at Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church where friends may visit from 11 a.m. until service time. Interment will follow in Biloxi National Cemetery.
The family expresses their heartfelt thanks to the caregivers of Mrs. Davis, Mrs. Shirley Davidson and her family, Dr. Dawn Hanson, and Odyssey Hospice.
