Erlinda "Linda" DeCastro Rafada

It is with sadness we announce the passing of our mother, Linda Rafada, who went to be with the Lord today, Tuesday, December 19, 2023.

She was passionate about her family and her garden. She found great joy in caring for her pets, cooking, and the beauty in nature. Linda was happiest when singing beautiful melodies and dancing around her house to Elvis. She loved bringing her family and friends together for any occasion worth celebrating and all holidays through the year. She was a daughter, sister, aunt, mother, and grandmother who was greatly loved, and will be missed immensely.

Linda leaves behind her son, Louie Rafada (Amanda); her eldest daughter, Cristina Switzer (Keith); and her youngest daughter, Raquel Cossman (Chad). Linda also leaves behind her beloved grandchildren, Gage, Alexandra, Libby, Chloe, and Casey.

Though her family is located throughout the Philippines and parts of the US, she continually expressed her love for those close to her heart.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, December 23, 2023 at Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Home, 15th Street, Gulfport. Friends may visit one-hour prior to service. A private graveside service will follow. Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home, 15^th Street, Gulfport is honored to serve the Rafada family.
