Ernest Reid

Mr. Ernest Reid, 55, of Biloxi, MS, passed away Sunday, May 23, 2010, in Ocean Springs. Mr. Reid was born in Benson, Arizona and had been a resident of the coast since 1979. He was employed with Boomtown Casino as a slot supervisor. He was a Baptist and enjoyed fishing and spending time with his grandchildren. Mr. Reid was preceded in death by his parents, Marcelino Hernandez and Rosie Sanchez Hernandez, two sisters and a brother. He is survived by his step-son, Delbert Sledge, Jr. of Biloxi; step-daughter, Zondra Ralo of Biloxi; five sisters; one brother; and five grandchildren, Delsha, Delbert, III, and Dahlton Sledge, and Lindsey and Carver Hutcherson. Visitation is Thursday, May 27, 2010, from 6 until 8 p.m. at Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Home, Howard Avenue, in Biloxi.
