Ernie Lee Bullen

Ernie Lee Bullen, 84, of Pass Christian died Tuesday, July 8, 2008 in Gulfport. He was a resident of Gulfport for 54 years and was a member of the Bricklayers Union since 1942. He was a deacon and active member of Grace Memorial Baptist Church, a 32 degree Mason and a member of Scottish Rites. He was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters; two brothers; and a great-granddaughter, Hannah Beatrice Bullen. Mr. Bullen is survived by his wife of 62 years, Marie H. Bullen of Pass Christian; a daughter, Kay Garrard and her husband, Dennis of Pass Christian; three sons, Jimmy Bullen and wife, Sandra of Perkinston, William Bullen and wife, Christy of Gulfport, and John Bullen and wife, Stephanie of Wiggins; a sister, Jennie Stringer of Perkinston; ten grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews and extended family members. Visitation will be Friday evening July 11, 2008 from 5 until 8:00 p.m. at Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Home, 15th Street, Gulfport. The funeral service will be Saturday, July 12, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. at Grace Memorial Baptist Church in Gulfport where friends may visit from 10:00 am until the service.
