Esprie Edwina Hebert Morris

Mrs. Esprie Edwina Hebert Morris, 69, lifelong resident of St. Martin/D’Iberville, MS passed on Tuesday, January 17, 2017 with God’s grace surrounded by loved ones. Mrs. Morris worked at their family owned Morris Floor Covering, Alpha Optics, Fersons Optics, Winn Dixie, Palace Casino and DHS Cafeteria before retirement. She loved God, her devoted husband and family with a fearless love; a beautiful soul who gave strength to us all. She loved music, singing, crafts and living by her faith in God, taught CCD. She was strong in heart, mind and soul. She will be thought of often, prayed for daily and missed beyond what language can explain. She was preceded in death by her parents, Eddie J. (Dorothy) Hebert, Sr. Mrs. Morris is survived by her husband nearly 50 years, Terrell O. “T.O.” Morris, Jr.; her children, Stephine (Jimmy) Carter, Shellie Morris, Trisha (Jimmy) Stringer and Dee Jarrett; her brother, E.J. Hebert, Jr.; and her grandchildren, Jason Jarrett, Brynn Carter, Hayden Jarrett, Kayleigh Stringer, Charlea Stringer, Shannatha (Travis) Nelson, Colten and Dana Nelson. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at the Howard Avenue Chapel of Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home at 11:15 am on Saturday, January 21, 2017. Family and friends may visit from 10:00 am until service time. Interment will follow at Lamey Cemetery on Lamey Bridge Road.
