Esther Barousse

Esther Gertrude Henley Barousse, a native of Biloxi, MS and resident of New Orleans, LA for 70 years, died on April 20, 2006 at the age of 95. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 52 years, Romain J. Barousse; her parents, William Patrick and Elizabetha Schumann Henley; and siblings Mildred Henley Lawson, Gulfport, MS, Mae Henley, Albert Henley and Ernest Henley, Sr. Biloxi, MS. She is survived by her daughter, Cheryl Barousse Frischhertz and her late son-in-law Bernard C. Frischhertz, Jr. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Gregg Stephen Frischhertz and wife, Rebecca, Bruce James Frischhertz and wife, Lisa, great grandchildren Blaine, Jason, William, Cole and Payton Frischhertz and nieces and nephew, Ernest Henley, Jr., Barbara Gayle Ireland, and the late Helen Henley Bullock. A Mass of Christian burial will be held Monday, April 24, 2006 at 11:00am at Nativity BVM Catholic Church, 870 Howard Ave., Biloxi, MS 39530, where family and friends may visit one hour prior to service time. Burial to follow in Biloxi City Cemetery.
