Esther Drake Curl

Mrs. Esther Drake Curl, of Ocean Springs, MS., died Friday, February 16, 2007, in Ocean Springs. Mrs. Curl was a resident of the community for 28 years. She was a member of St. Paul United Methodist Church in Ocean Springs and was a loving wife and mother. She was preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, Jack Curl, daughter, Shelley Rucker, parents, Benjamin and Blanche Drake, sister, Clair Williams, and three brothers, Ben Drake, Jack Drake and David Drake. Survivors include a son Jack (Betty) Curl of Ocean Springs, MS., four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Visitation will be on Monday, February 19, 2007, from 1-2 PM, with a 2 PM chapel service, all at the Ocean Springs Chapel of Bradford O'Keefe Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Crestlawn Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers the family prefers donations be made to The Lord Is My Help, 1205 Desoto Street, Ocean Springs, MS., 39564.
