Ethel Joanna Halcomb

Mrs. Ethel Joanna Halcomb, age 82, of Ocean Springs passed away on Thursday, February 28, 2008 in Ocean Springs. Ethel had been a resident of the Gulf Coast for thirty six years and an active member of Lemoyne Boulevard Baptist Church, who loved to garden and sew. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. Mrs. Halcomb was preceded in death by her parents, John and Nancy Cox; daughter, Nancy Kinghammer and sons, Darrell Kinghammer and Arnold Kinghammer. Survivors include her husband of thirty three years, Herman Halcomb of Ocean Springs; four daughters, Kay Kinghammer of Seattle, WA; Sally Smith of Brematon, WA; Susie Kinghammer of Tacoma, WA and Terry (Jim) Gorski of Alvaton, KY; five sons, Donald Kinghammer of Tacoma, WA, Jimmy (Anne) Halcomb of Joshua, TX, William (Carmen) Halcomb of Portland, TX and Robert Halcomb of Houston, TX as well as eleven grandchildren. Visitation will be from 9:00 a.m. until 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 1, 2008, with a 10:00 a.m. funeral service at the Ocean Springs Chapel of Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Homes. Burial to follow at Crestlawn Memorial Park.
