Ethel Campbell Smith

Ethel Campbell Smith, 57, of Biloxi, died Sunday, November 11, 2012. Ethel was born in Texarkana, Texas and was a resident of Biloxi since 1986. She was in the Women’s Army Corps and retired from the Biloxi Veteran’s Administration after 26 years. She was a devoted mother, grandmother and never met a stranger. Ethel is preceded in death by her mother, Mary Campbell. Her survivors include her loving husband of 37 years, Ernest Smith II; two daughters, Donna Erwin (Ron) and Rebecca Medina; two sons, Scott Reynolds and Ernest Smith III (Erica); father, Rhonald Campbell; her sister, Paulette Lheureux (Isidro Mendoza); five brothers, Ronald Charles Campbell (Sue), Larry Campbell, Robert Campbell (Tincy), Michael “Moe” Campbell and Gary Wayne Campbell; and six grandchildren, Vanessa, Amber, Stefany, Jessica, Alfonsa and Caleb. A visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 14, 2012 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, November 15, 2012 at 12:30 p.m. all at the Pass Road Chapel of Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home. Interment will follow at the Biloxi National Cemetery.
