Ethleen B. Pinson

Mrs. Ethleen B. Pinson, beloved wife and mother, age 79, of Ocean Springs, MS., passed away on Tuesday, August 3, 2010, in Ocean Springs. Ethleen was born on August 21, 1930, in Gastonia, NC, but had been a resident of Ocean Springs for approximately 40 years. She served with her husband in an Air Force career in civil service at Wright Patterson AFB, Ohio, Eglin Field, FL., and Keesler AFB. She was active in several Masonic organizations including Eastern Star and Daughters of the Nile. She was the daughter of the late Luther and Mary Ashe of Spindale, NC. Survivors include her husband, Jasper E. Pinson, daughter, Bobbie Montgomery, sister, Carolyn Steele and niece, Leasa Goodwin. Visitation will be on Wednesday, August 4, 2010, from 6 pm until 8 pm, at the Ocean Springs Chapel of Bradford O'Keefe Funeral Home. Interment will be held at a later date at Rutherfordton County Memorial Cemetery in Forest City, NC.
