Eugene Edward Robinson

Eugene Edward Robinson, age 80, passed away Wednesday, February 1, 2017. Eugene was a native of Iowa. He joined the United States Air Force at the age of seventeen, went to basic training in San Antonio, Texas and was stationed in Amarillo, Texas where he worked as a flight mechanic. Mr. Robinson met his wife while stationed in Kansas in 1954 and retired from the USAF after two tours in Vietnam. He received the Distinguished Flying Cross Award and fifteen air medals. He retired as a Senior Master Sergeant after serving his country for twenty-eight years and received the call to the ministry later in his life, serving as an Anglican Priest. He was preceded in death by his wife, Eva Jean Robinson. Survivors include three daughters, Carol Ann Pavich, Janice Lee Hayhurst and Robin Jolene Henderson, son, Ronnie J. (Diann) Graf, three sisters, Kay Creager, Carol Chihak and Margo Malone, brother, Steven Ernst and numerous grandchildren. Visitation will be on Tuesday, February 7, from 6pm until 8pm, at the Ocean Springs Chapel of Bradford O'Keefe Funeral Home. On Friday, February 10 there will be a 12:30pm graveside service with full Military Honors in Biloxi National Cemetery.
