Eula Mae Quave Noyes, 88, of Vancleave, MS, passed away Saturday, September 3, 2011, in Ocean Springs. She was born January 23, 1923 in Biloxi and remained a lifelong resident of the coast.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Corrine Goodier Quave and Andrew Quave; her husband, Theodore E. Noyes (Capt., USAF, Ret.); her son, Terryl Noyes; her brothers Carlos Quave, Olen Quave, and Carl Ramsey; and her sisters, Violet Higginbotham, Elizabeth Semski, and Ethlyn Hamm.
She is survived by her two daughters, Theda (Walter) Barney and Cynthia (Scotty) Broome of Ocean Springs; four grandchildren, Matthew Hodge, Jr. of Deer Park, Texas, Laquita (Tim) Smith of Wiggins, Eric S. Broome of Atlanta, Georgia, and Courtney Broome of Ocean Springs; five great-grandchildren; and two great-great grandchildren.
The family wishes to thank the doctors, nurses, and staff of the Biloxi Internal Medicine Clinic, Ocean Springs Nursing Center, Biloxi Regional Medical Center, and Odyssey Hospice for their loving care and concern for our mother and grandmother.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, September 6, 2011, at 2:00 p.m. at Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home in Ocean Springs. Friends may visit from 1:00 p.m until service time. Interment will follow in Crestlawn Memorial Park.
