Mrs. Eva Nell Burge Emile was born June 19, 1932 in Picayune, MS. She entered Heaven's gates February 1, 2007. She was a lifelong resident of Biloxi and a life member of V F W Post 2434 Ladies Auxiliary. Mrs. Emile was of the Catholic faith.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 45 years, James W. Emile; daughter, Linda Emile; parents, Elijah Burge and Eva Moorehead Burge, three brothers and four sisters.
She is survived, and will be greatly missed, by her sister, Jerri Crawford of Bush, LA; daughter, Cheryl Dubaz of Biloxi; two sons, Jimmy Emile and his wife, Joyce, of Harriman, TN and Ronnie Emile and his wife, Darlene, of Ocean Springs, and her beloved companion, Billy Ray Bellande, Sr., of Biloxi. She embraced Toni Padgett and her family of Memphis, TN, Cindy Yenewine and Michael Dubaz, both of Biloxi, with love as her own. She is also survivied by her grandchildren, Kimberly Breal, Jimmy D. Emile, Jeremiah Emile Noble, Christopher Emile, Meagan J. Emile and Alex Emile; great grandson, Jaden Emile; step grandchildren, Michael Dubaz, Ramona Dubaz, Linley Dubaz, Leah Owen, Greta Tunyuck, and Eric Brown, and eight step great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Monday, February 5, 2007, at 10 a.m. at the Howard Avenue Chapel of Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Homes in Biloxi where friends may visit from 8:30 a.m. until service time. Interment will follow in Biloxi National Cemetery.
