Evelyn Ann Hoffman Taylor Springer born in Pulaski County, Arkansas, on November 3, 1934, passed in Ocean Springs Hospital on April 18, 2009. She was preceded in death by her parents Henry Hoffman and Nellie Mae Hoffman, former husband Rev. Robbie Joe Taylor, sisters Clara Lou Haney and Cathleen (Kitty) Ott.
Evelyn is survived by her husband Rev. James Springer and step-children, Rebecca (Jon) Humble, Debra (Michael) Gennaro, Rev. Paul (June) Springer, and Tammy (Christopher) Handler.
Her step-grandchildren include: Cynthia (Christopher) Vuyovich, Bethany Gennaro, Joseph Gennaro, Ashley (Anthony) Ditcharo, Bradley Rainey, Jocelyn and Joshua Rainey, Molly (Thomas) Schubert, Austin and Kristen Handler; one great-grandchild Sophia Schubert, all of the Gulf Coast.
Evelyn’s sisters and brothers include: Alnita Gill of Little Rock, Arkansas; Joseph Hoffman of Missouri; Margaret Justice of North Little Rock Arkansas; Monnie Mae Beamsderfer of Sherwood, Arkansas; Levon Hoffman of Red River, Arkansas; Nellie Jean Long of North Little Rock, Arkansas, and Christine Welch of Cabot, Arkansas.
The funeral services to be held at Pentecostals of the Gulf Coast on Monday, April 20, 2009, at seven o’clock. Friends may visit one hour prior to the start of the services. Graveside services and burial, to be held, at the Rest- hills Memorial Park Sherwood, Arkansas. In lieu of flowers, family suggests memorials to PGC Building Fund, 1907 Popps Ferry Road, Biloxi, Mississippi 39532.
