Evelyn Beaugez

Mrs. Evelyn Freche Beaugez, 86, entered into God's heavenly kingdom, Saturday, July 24, 2010. Mrs. Beaugez was a lifelong resident of D'Iberville and a member of St. Martin Senior Citizen's for many years. One of her favorite activities was traveling with her club. Branson, MO was by far her favorite destination to see all the entertainers. She completed a hemodialysis course in Jackson, MS in the mid 1970's, and was a pioneer in assisting her husband, James, with his hemodialysis treatments at home. Mrs. Beaugez's home was known to all family members and friends as the gathering place for many celebrations, with Christmas being the ultimate celebration. She was bold enough with all the festivities to have her annual Kaluah & Cream which she talked about until the next Christmas. Mrs. Beaugez was preceded in death by her husband, James Beaugez; mother, Marie Kriss; father, Gustave Freche; sister, Doris Freche; brother, Elton Freche; and daughters, Barbara Beaugez Galle and Sheila Beaugez. She is survived by her son, Gerald Beaugez of San Francisco, CA; daughters, Eva Beaugez Locke of Biloxi, Sandra Beaugez and Rhonda Bruno both of Bay St. Louis; son-in-law, Lex Galle, Sr. of Saucier and her adopted son, Michael Nadile of San Francisco, CA; grandchildren, Stacey Galle Curran, Lex (Melissa) Galle, Jr., Amie Harried, Sheldon Galle, Selina (Joel) Prevost, Taylor Rosson and Hunter Beaugez; and great grandchildren, Nichole Buchheit, Anthony Curran, III, Alexis Galle, III, Patrick Galle, Savannah Galle, Madisyn Harried, Egil Harried and Chase McMillian. Visitation is Wednesday, July 28, 2010, from 6 until 9 p.m. at Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Home, Howard Avenue, in Biloxi. A Mass of Christian Burial will be 1 p.m. Thursday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church where friends may visit from 12:30 p.m. until service time. Interment will follow in Biloxi City Cemetery.
