Evelyn Dianne Allen, age 58, of Gulfport, died November 15, 2009 at her home in Biloxi. Born Dianne Fruges on June 17, 1951 in Gulfport, she attended Gulfport Holiness Church. Dianne is survived by Don Allen, her husband, who shared 30 years of heartfelt memories. Also survived by two sons, Andrew (Becky) Page of Gulfport; Samuel (Tammy) Page of Biloxi and two stepsons, Chris (Lisa) Allen of Columbia, SC; Richard (Christine) Allen of Spring Lake, NC and their families. Dianne was blessed with thirteen grandchildren: Hope, Meagan, Brett, Ryan, Amber Jo, Kayla, Alexis, Samantha, Elisa, Eli, Gracie, Nathan, Bryceson and one great grandchild, Christian. Dianne was the youngest of six children born of Evelyn and Pete Fruges of Gulfport. Surviving sisters and brothers include: Rose (Jim) Russell, Pete (Faye) Fruges, Julie (Erkki) Enroth, Patsy (Gary) Joffrion, Donald Ray Fruges and their families, all of Gulfport. Diana Knight, close friend; Barbara Ann Cooley, cousin; and Patti Rainwater, special neighbor, are among the numerous extended family and acquaintances who share the loss of Dianne’s beauty, grace and wonderful voice which praised her Lord with song from when she was a child. Dianne worked for Harrison County Child Development Center serving special needs students until diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. Special thanks to Dr. John McKee, Dr. James Clarkson, Regional Cancer Center and Ocean Springs Hospital for their unsurpassed care in extending Dianne’s time with her loved ones. The visitation will be Tuesday, November 17, 2009 from 6 until 8:00 p.m. at Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Home, 15th Street, Gulfport. The service will be Wednesday, November 18, 2009 at 2 p.m. in the funeral home chapel and interment will follow at Evergreen Cemetery in Gulfport.
