Ezmer Broom Miller

Mrs. Ezmer Broom Miller, age 91, of Ocean Springs, MS, died Thursday, October 13, 2005, in Ocean Springs, MS. Mrs. Miller was a resident of the community for 66 years. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Ocean Springs and retired from E.R. Moore Company. Mrs. Miller was preceded in death by her husband, Herbert L. Miller; two sons, Jerry Miller and Percy Miller; her father and mother, Hugh and Katie Aultman Broom; sister, Delia Mae Broom; and brothers, Wylie, Stanley, Coy, Lamar, and H.T. Broom. She is survived by a son, Terry (Thelma) Miller; daughters, Maudie (Bob) Storie and Virginia (Larry) Williams; and daughters-in-law, Deborrah Miller and Kay Miller, all of Ocean Springs, MS; nine grandchildren, Virginia (Dean) Wada, Kathy (Keith) Dier, Walter (Maureen) Storie, Bart Williams, Joel (Laurie) Williams, Craig (Kathy) Miller, Thomas Miller, Lee Miller, and Dawn (Ernie) Lestrade; 19 great-grandchildren, Hannah, Darcie, Ethan, Conner, Carson, Robert, William, Joshua, Sean, Ryan, Ferris, Murray, Tate, Karly, Blake, Hayden, Wesley, Shelby, and Jillian; a brother, Tom Broom of Columbia, MS; brother-in-law, Bruce Miller of Oklahoma City, OK; sisters-in-law, Margaret Mohler of Ocean Springs, MS, and Eula Nee Twining of Lake Oswega, OR. Visitation will be on Saturday, October 15, 2005, from 9-11 a.m. with an 11 a.m. church service, all at the First Baptist Church of Ocean Springs. Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family prefers memorials be made to the First Baptist Church of Ocean Springs Building Fund, 602 Washington Ave., Ocean Springs, MS 39564. The Ocean Springs Chapel of Bradford O'Keefe Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
